Fluffy Spider Technologies is an Australian software development company leading the world in embedded graphics. FancyPants, our flagship suite of products, is used by first tier equipment manufacturers, including Toshiba and VeriFone, worldwide on a variety of commericial and consumer electronics.
Because we aren't large you will get the chance to do stuff at FST you can't do anywhere else. The exposure and the experience you will get here is second to none.

Current Positions
Software Engineer
A talented C programmer is needed to join a small team of developers. It is a hands on role, so you will be designing, coding and debugging.
The successful applicant will have a good understanding of computer architecture and embedded systems and must have experience with Linux.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must be able to deal with all aspects of the software development life cycle from conception, planning, development through to documentation, testing and support
- Ability to move quickly between various aspects of the software development life cycle
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Work well in a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent verbal and written skills / communication skills
- Excellent C skills
- Knowledge of revision control systems
- A passion for programming
- A desire to learn
Nice to have (but not mandatory):
- Have knowledge of image transformation methods
- Experience with graphical toolkits
- Experience with multimedia

Artist / Part Time
An artist is required to create icons and images for a project. The artist must work on-site. Familiarity with with Linux tools such as Inkscape and Gimp desireable. Note, this is not a website job.
