Screen Grab Videos
Special Effects Show Off
This application shows 4 media objects
floating around the screen: 3 images and 1 video. Any of the objects
can be selected, bringing that object to the center of the screen and
causing a popup menu to appear. The menu allows the following
operations:
- Scaling
- Transparency Setting (Alpha)
- Setting the Red Value
- Setting the Green Value
- Setting the Blue Value
- Adding a Shadow Effect
- Adding a Sparkle Effect
- Changing the Theme
- Changing the Background
- Rotate the Object
All the effects are applied in real time. The video continues to play
while being scaled and having transparency and other effects set.

The Video Browser
This shows 3 videos playing in thumbnails. All
videos are being decoded and played in software at the same time.
There is transparency between the videos.
When a video is selected it scales to the size of the screen in real
time. The buttons are overlayed on top of the video with
transparency, so you can see through the button to the video layer.

The Media Browser
There are several media thumbnail objects on screen. Some are for
folders of media and others are for single objects. The Media Browser
application cycles through the folders with various, random, special
effects. A selection of objects and folders is made and a slideshow
of them shown. Screen transitions include:
- Fading
- Animation
- Rotation
- Folding

Daybook
This application has several components:
- Media Object in the top right hand side. This changes between
images and videos.
- Clock, with dropshadow and anti-aliased hands
- Calendar. Note the effects when the arrows are clicked.
- Animated background. There is mist rolling along some of
the backgrounds and an animated FST logo at other times.
