"FancyPants(TM)" has received a national "Secrets of Australian ICT Innovation award, in a competition administered by the Australian Government Department's Austrade and The Department of Communications, Information Technology and the Arts (DCITA).
"FancyPants is an advanced GUI & high-performance Multi-Media platform for embedded application development. While media centric and dramatically enhancing the user experience, FancyPants requires a minimum of hardware resources. This enables reduced hardware costs for the likes of mobile phones, PDA's, TV set tops, vehicle navigation, Point-Of-Sale, kiosks, industrial, medical and scientific devices", said Robi Karp - CEO of Fluffy Spider Technologies (FST).
"Developed by FST, FancyPants enables businesses to differentiate themselves and better service users. For example, VeriFone International is a global leader in secure electronic payments, with over 12 Million terminals in 100 countries and head quarters in USA. For their new generation of terminals, VeriFone selected FancyPants as preferred GUI and Multi-Media platform, integrating high-impact advertising with an advanced GUI for secure transactions, in a single Point-Of-Sale device", said Mr Karp.
"FancyPants enables clients to quickly develop eye-catching, sophisticated and friendly user interfaces with minimal technical expertise, and for third-parties to add further value for their local
markets. It's also highly portable and users can not only change skins but also screen layouts. FancyPants supports Linux, WinCE and Symbian operating systems, as well as the Qtopia display subsystem", said Mr Karp.
"The ICT Innovation award recognises the excellent features and benefits of FancyPants and our international track record. We invite prospective resellers, product managers and developers to visit www.FancyPants-Graphics.com for further details", said Mr Karp.
