Previous development projects include:
- 2001: The Toshiba Wireless Internet Appliance or Internet
Table is a first generation wirelessly connected PDA.
- 2002: The Toshiba Transcube is a home media center /
PVR and wireless access point. It provides a TV display
for setting up recordings and viewing digital media.
- 2003: HPM iPoint is a Home Automation Product for
controlling the home from a single embedded unit. It can be
controlled from outside the home, via The Internet, and from
inside the home.
- 2004: Annodex is an open source standard that defines the
incorporation of rich media , such as links and
subtitles, into video. This allows the video to be searchable
and indexed. FST developed an efficient mobile implementation
together with Australia's CSIRO and Optus.
- 2005: The VeriFone MX870, MX860, MX850 and MX830 terminals.
